Dissimilar stiffness rates in the two horizontal modes optimize the suspension system to avoid resonances with the main engine orders, while ensuring a high degree of vibration isolation during operation with rotational speeds as low as 500 rpm. The supports are approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping and may be available with a height adjustment function for special circumstances.
